I didn't take this one - I'm the one kiteskating in the vid. Using a smaller kite than you'd use on water or snow, a 3 meter Slingshot aerofoil trainer kite. In a parking lot not far from Rich Stadium, which generally isn't too wind shadowed... Still, wind, pavement - don't try this at home kids. And even though it's a little sketchy - damn impressive video for a cell phone, isn't it?

When there isn't quite enough wind for kiteboarding out on the water, we bring it to the parking lot for some kiteskating. Still in the learning stages...so we play it safe with speed...and no tricks for now. :) A trick for us is making a successful turn, without falling on our butts or having the kite fall out of the sky. :)
